About Us

NOLArts Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which creates opportunities for young people with autism and other special needs to engage with the New Orleans cultural community through creative projects, performances and events. 

Through advocacy and education, NOLArts promotes inclusion and acceptance of diverse abilities. 

​Through access programs, NOLArts organizes and assists groups of young people with autism to participate in the mainstream community’s cultural institutions and events, including parades, museums and public performances.

Team

• Kate Lacour is a board-certified art therapist and registered ABA line tech. .

• Sarah Ambrose has a Master's in Music Education and is a 
registered ABA line tech.

• Taylor Cheek is a coach and tutor, registered ABA line tech, and the former director of Sensory Friendly programming at the Louisiana Children's Museum.
